An Historic Cemetery Walk will be held on Saturday, October 17th at Newark Cemetery, N. Main St. at 1:00 p.m. (rain or shine)
This year, in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the U.S., we will be saluting the Revolutionary War veterans buried in the front area of Newark Cemetery. There are six known veterans. Their stories will be told and the graves will be visited.
The walk will start in Nichols Memorial Chapel at the Main St entrance.
Admission fee is $5/person, or $20/family maximum. Refreshments will be served following the event.
