Please bring your own lawn chair.  Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you!

Strawberry Social – June 25th

For more than two decades we have served up strawberry shortcake with ice cream and toppings and opened our doors to wonderful displays inside the museum.
Docents will be available to welcome you in the museum and answer your questions. Once again, we will enjoy musical entertainment provided by the Loose Marbles.
Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12. Enjoy on the premises, or take it to go. Come join us for one of our favorite events, rain or shine.

Dave Bloom Will Speak at the Quarterly Meeting

Dave Bloom of Canandaigua

At the museum on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:00, our speaker will be David Bloom, aka “The Gravestone Guy”.  Mr. Bloom restores grave monuments, and he will touch upon the types of stone they are made of, proper cleaning techniques and the cemetery restoration project he is currently doing.  Dave is member of the Ontario and Wayne County Genealogical Societies, and several historical societies.

If you interested in cemeteries, and the vast history that gravestones contain, this is a program you will not want to miss.  If you have family grave markers that could benefit from being cleaned, be sure to attend.
