Annual Dinner Returns & Other Events

Springtime has arrived and with it comes a variety of events that are sure to please.   On Saturday, April 8th, Cindy Russell presented “The History of Dick and Jane Books”.  Cindy’s program was a nostalgic look at the history of these classic readers, enhanced by images from her extensive collection.  Watch the event here.

Another event,  the Annual Meeting and Dinner, will be held on Thursday, April 20.  After a Covid-related pause, we will again gather at the American Legion (200 E. Union St) for an enjoyable evening.  Social hour will begin at 6:00 with a buffet dinner starting shortly before 7:00.  This will be followed by the brief annual meeting and election.

Cathy McGrath

Clifton Springs musician Cathy McGrath will close out the evening with 19th Century songs about suffrage, the Civil War and the Erie Canal using vintage instruments.

Tickets for the dinner will be $30/person.  You may choose to just attend the meeting (around 7:30) if desired.

Dinner will include parmesan-crusted chicken, roast beef au jus, tortellini primavera, rice pilaf, buttered corn, tossed salad, rolls and cake.

Please RSVP by April 14 by sending payment to N-AHS (120 High Street), or you can reserve and pay at the door by calling 315-331-6409 to let Chris know how many are attending.
