Summer Hours at the Newark-Arcadia Museum & the Marbletown Schoolhouse!

The Newark-Arcadia Museum will be open Wednesday evenings, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. during July & August.

The new exhibit, “Low Bridge, Ev’rybody Down, Newark’s 200 Years on the Erie Canal” is now open! There are many amazing photos of the canal through the village of Newark, outstanding artwork, artifacts and much more.

Of course, the museum is open Saturdays, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. as usual.

The historic 1876 Marbletown Schoolhouse is also open Saturdays, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Located in the hamlet of Marbletown, just SE of Newark, the former District No. 5 country school closed in 1947. Come and see this great local treasure!

To get there: From Rt. 88 – S, take Silver Hill Rd. east about 1.5 miles.
