John Zornow, a columnist for the Times of Wayne County, will present “The Best Town on the Line.” He is past president of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, writes for the Society’s newsletter and serves as a museum docent.
Using old Newark directories as a starting point, John will depict how Newark rose above its peers with a combination of ingenuity, perseverance and a healthy dose of publicity.
This 4th Annual Outdoor History/Movie Night will be held at T. Spencer Knight Canal park on Thursday, August 19 at 8 PM. Rain date is the following Thursday, Aug. 26.
