John Zornow Will Present a Show on Aug. 19th

UPDATE:  The forecast for Thursday evening is for mild conditions with minimal rain chances.  We expect to hold the lecture as planned, but any changes will be posted here, no later than 5 PM Thursday, 8/19.

John Zornow, a columnist for the Times of Wayne County, will present “The Best Town on the Line.” He is past president of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, writes for the Society’s newsletter and serves as a museum docent.

Using old Newark directories as a starting point, John will depict how Newark rose above its peers with a combination of ingenuity, perseverance and a healthy dose of publicity.

This 4th Annual Outdoor History/Movie Night will be held at T. Spencer Knight Canal park  on Thursday, August 19  at 8 PM.   Rain date is the following Thursday, Aug. 26.

Please bring you own lawn chair.  Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you!

Jim Bush will Speak on July 15th
