One Last Tribute to Roosevelt School

As many of you know, Roosevelt School is slated for demolition sometime in January.

Preserving the memories of our past is our business and so we would like to take a photo of any and all former teachers, students & employees, including Roosevelt ARC, at the School.

The photo will be taken at 1 p.m. SHARP on Saturday, December 29th at the school on East Union St.

Please help spread the word to those you may know who taught or attended classes at Roosevelt School. THANK YOU!

For any info, please call the N-AHS Museum at 315-331-6409.

December Events

The holiday season is upon us.  Join us for some cheer on Sunday, December 2nd from noon to 3 PM as we celebrate with special events at both locations.  The Marbletown schoolhouse will have a bake sale and will host craft vendors.  Stop by and pick up a unique gift for that special person.

The museum will offer refreshments to those who visit. Come and enjoy the exhibits and decorations.

Please join us at 7 PM on Dec. 13th for our quarterly membership meeting.  Huron town historian Rosa Fox will give a presentation on James Madison Cosad.  James Madison Cosad (1810–1893) was a freethinker and farmer who in 1877 hosted the first meeting of what would become the New York Freethinkers Association.
